Consummate Health and Sanitation is a non-profit organisation that is committed to promoting health, hygiene, and sanitation in communities around Liberia. As an organisation, we focus on three key areas: menstrual hygiene education, healthcare and sanitation, and antimicrobial resistance. Consummate Health and Sanitation is working to address these issues and improve the health and well-being of its population.

Menstrual hygiene education is a critical aspect of public health that is often overlooked. In many communities in Liberia, women and girls lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products and education, which can lead to serious health problems and social stigma. Consummate Health and Sanitation is working to break down these barriers by providing education and access to menstrual hygiene products to women and girls in need. This helps to promote good menstrual hygiene practices, prevent infections and empower women to take control of their health.

Healthcare and sanitation are also important areas of focus. Many communities in Liberia lack access to basic healthcare facilities, clean water and sanitation infrastructure, which have led to the spread of diseases and other health problems. Our work is to address these issues by providing healthcare educational services, advocating for the building of sanitation infrastructure, and promoting healthy behaviours. By doing so, we help to improve the overall health and well-being of communities in Liberia.

Antimicrobial resistance is another growing public health concern in the healthcare industry, and Liberia is no exception. When bacteria become resistant to antibiotics, it can lead to serious infections that are difficult or impossible to treat. Consummate Health and Sanitation is working to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance and promote responsible use of antibiotics in Liberia through the formation of CHS health clubs in schools and universities across the country. By doing so, we can help prevent the spread of antibiotic-resistant infections and create more AMR Champions as we aim to preserve the effectiveness of antibiotics for future generations.
