Launching new content ๐Ÿ’‰

Exciting times once again - we are just about to launch new content on how the immune system works and how vaccines help protect us against some of the most devastating infections.

Please visit our new pages providing an Introduction to Immunology, explaining basic concepts of โ€˜innate immunityโ€™ and โ€˜adaptive immunityโ€™.

The new extension of our adventure trail now also covers vaccination, undoubtedly one of the greatest triumphs of modern medicine and science.

We explain how different types of vaccines work:

And we have created a new part in our Downloads section where we make resources available for people who want to learn more about the immune system and vaccines, for instance the British Society for Immunologyโ€™s โ€œGuide to childhood vaccinationsโ€ and Public Health Englandโ€™s โ€œVisual Guide to Vaccinesโ€.

We hope you enjoy the new materials, and as always we are looking forward to receiving your feedback!
