Vaccine infographics in Swahili 🇹🇿

We are proud to be able to launch a series of resources in Swahili about vaccines and vaccinations

These resources were developed for our “Learning With and From Each Other” project partnering schools in the UK and Ireland with schools in Tanzania.

Many thanks to the British Society for Immunology (BSI) who created these infographics, with the text translated by our friends at the Roll Back Antimicrobial Resistance Initiative (RBA Initiative).

We are launching them today to coincide with the BSI’s Vaccine Engagement Day and contribute to these important #VaccineConversations, helping to address common questions and concerns surrounding vaccinations.

Swahili is the official language of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, and is spoken by more than 150 million people in Africa.

We are particularly excited that our resources are getting noticed by important organisations such as the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Tanzania, which work to save lives, reduce disease and improve health for Tanzanian citizens.

This shows the potential impact of our infographics for public health, awareness and education in Tanzania, and beyond.
